Eric Garcia was born in California. Before going on to gain a Master of Studio Art from New York University, he studied at Brooks Institute of Photography and graduated in Fine Arts from Kansas City Art Institute.

After beginning his career in Los Angeles, he relocated to Barcelona, Spain in 1999. Now he divides his time between the U.S. and Spain.

His work has been exhibited in many galleries within Italy and the U.S. and in 2007 he won the prestigious Spanish Lux photography award in the fashion and beauty category.

His works reveal a very personal style, especially in the lighting and the acting of his characters.
