Introduction

I have been in the oil field for over 16 years in consecutively now, starting entry level and quickly becoming a supervising project manager and consultant. As a consultant, I worked contract jobs. As a result, I’ve been in charge of various coworkers and their performance for clients.

Moreover, this managerial skill started as a small business entrepreneur. In addition, I developed 2 operational small retail businesses from 1998-2005. Unfortunately, my wife and I decided to close operations and return to Alpine, TX. There, we continued our education while I got my first job as a mud logger on a Lariat Rig for Sandridge Energy south of Ft. Stockton, TX.- in 2006. I did my Public Administration Masters coursework and Minor in Geology at Sul Ross University. Ultimately, after my wife finished her \ Masters coursework in Education, we moved our family to the Permian Basin, Odessa, TX.. I ventured further into the Permian until in 2015 the price of barrel dropped, drilling slowed down, and I got hired on with AT&T and Primetime Broadcasting. Since that time, I never knew about technologies. Moreover, I trained with AT&T and loved my job at the TV station. As a result, the barrel price came back up and drilling jobs were paying really good again to turn away.

Moreover, I took a job briefly with a frac vendor chemical tracer company called Pro Technics. Therefore, I gained frac experience with them I didn’t previously have. Finally, I continued Mudlogging till the work slowed down for the company I was consulting for. Moreover, I ventured off back into the communications and technologies career path. I worked with Tan Mar Communications where I installed internet networks for oil field energy operators on drilling rigs and frac pads.

In conclusion, my daughters college tuition was gonna be too much so I came on with PetroLog International as a Geological Engineer. Today, I’m looking for an opportunity to use my professional skills along with my quality skills, to pursue and economically advance my pay rate.

Thank You

Eric Garcia
